We have an amazing team here at BRiO that will work together to provide you with the best care and support possible. Our team consists of nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, billing specialists, coordinators, etc. to help you in whatever area you need. Many of these work directly in hospice care to build patient relationships.
Nurses
We have numerous skilled nurses, whether they are PAs, LPNs, or Nursing Assistants. They will work hands-on with you to build you a custom palliative care plan, usually with medicine and exercises that will best take care of your needs. You can trust them to prioritize your well-being and build a supportive relationship with you.
Social Workers
Our team of social workers can help you through all the logistical and emotional aspects of hospice care. They can help families with grief counseling, finances, food, and other important tasks. They are trained to navigate these specific situations with care and expertise.
Chaplains
If you or your loved ones are religious or spiritual, chaplains can be a major guide through this journey. They can be there to pray with you, listen to any spiritual concerns, and offer peace and comfort. They provide a peaceful presence as patients and their families face this transition.
Volunteers
Volunteers are a huge part of what we do at BRiO. We value community and want to love and support each other. Volunteers are there to do nothing but bring you a little bit of light in a hard time. They can offer those in hospice companionship, have conversations, and do activities with them.
Caregiver Support
Being a caregiver can be overwhelming. Taking care of a loved one in hospice while taking care of yourself and other responsibilities can be a lot of weight to carry. To help lighten the load, we provide educational resources designed to boost your confidence as a caregiver, along with various forms of support to ease the burden on your shoulders.
